Samhain Yoga, Sound Healing & Tea Ceremony

  • St George Community Centre Church Road Bristol, England, BS5 United Kingdom (map)

Let's celebrate Samhain. The Celtic festival of death, also known as Witches' New Year. The point in the wheel when the veil between the physical world and spiritual realm is believed to be at its thinnest. A time to honour the ancestors and to call for their spiritual guidance.

To journey between realms for healing guidance, we will call on the raven who teaches us the power of communication and perspective. The raven reminds us that our voice, both spoken and unspoken, is a bridge betweenour innermost desires and the world around us. Through shapeshifting and embodying the raven we can fly on the wind, gain new perspectives of our connection to the land and the path that we are travelling.

During the yoga practice we will travel with the power of storytelling, breathwork, movement and sound to awake the wild self, exploring both our inner and outer worlds.

We will then immerse ourselves in a healing sound bath where Tibetan singing bowls and other ancient instruments will attune and enhance the energies of the yoga practice, supporting you to transition into a meditative state to receive insights and healing vibrations. We will complete the ceremony with a tea ceremony and the sharing of nutritious snacks.

This event will be hosted by Ailie Tam (Yoga Rewild) and Ruth Semple (Starshine Roots).
