Spring Equinox yoga, sound healing & tea ceremony

  • St George Community Centre England, BS5 8AA United Kingdom (map)

Let's celebrate the Spring Equinox (Ostara) with a special yoga practice, sound bath and tea ceremony. Ostara (Spring Equinox) marks the moment when day and night become equal in length and is astrologically the start of Spring. In Celtic folklore this is when Ostara, the fire goddess comes to light, rising with the sun from the east, everything she touches springs back to life and the land turns back to being a lush fertile green. Experience the magic of Ostara, balance and the uplifting, renewing energy of Spring. The yoga practice will be accompanied by the deep resonance of ancient instruments and mindful music, breathwork, and vivid visualisations. The practice will descend into a cocooning sound bath, which creates space for insights and awakens the body's natural healing abilities. The ceremony will close with the sharing of seasonal herbal tea and nourishing snacks, a toast to Ostara and to the journey taken.
